POCSTRS MiniServer is a compact on-premise PoC server designed for small, high-density sites such as hotels, restaurants, retail chains and property security. It brings a dedicated PoC core into the customer’s own network, so teams can run group and individual calls, browser-based dispatch, location sharing and emergency alerts on a local, self-controlled system.
MiniServer works with cost-effective Cat.1 PoC devices and Android-based PoC terminals, supports plug-and-play provisioning, and can be deployed quickly on existing IP networks. It is a good fit for sites that need reliable day-to-day coordination, but want to keep overall project cost and operational complexity under control.

MiniServer supports both static and dynamic IP addressing, so it can be deployed in a wide range of enterprise and broadband environments without always requiring fixed public IP addresses. A built-in connectivity check helps verify network reachability and reduce time spent on field diagnosis.
Cost-effective Cat.1 device ecosystem
MiniServer provides lifecycle management for Cat.1 PoC devices and Android-based PoC terminals, including binding device identifiers to a specific MiniServer instance and monitoring online status. This gives partners more flexibility to balance device cost and user experience for small-site projects.
Browser-based dispatcher
A web dispatcher allows supervisors to use command and control functions from standard browsers, reducing installation effort and supporting more flexible control room and remote working setups.
Advanced client access and group monitoring
Clients support multiple login methods and service environment switching, for example between different POCSTARS environments where applicable. Multi-group monitoring allows users to listen to several groups at the same time while the terminal manages floor control according to the configured priorities.
Device telemetry and operational visibility
MiniServer collects device status information such as application version, battery level and signal strength, giving dispatchers better visibility of frontline device health and helping identify issues that may affect daily operations.
